2006-06-09 Many companies do not handle e-mail properly

n Sweden there has been a lot of publicity in regards to that many companies do not handle e-mail communication with there customers properly. Just a few weeks ago Internet world made a survey which pointed out the following: # Over 50% of the largest 50 "Business to Consumer" companies in Sweden failed the test (to get the highest score the company had to answer the same business day, but they where given 2 weeks to answer). # 24% did not answer at all! "This is serious since more and more customer communication is carried out through digital channels like e-mail. The ones who realize how important it is to answer customers in the channel that the customer has chosen have a lot to gain.” says Anna Cedmert Chief Marketing Officer Cention AB.
